Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman’s life. It causes many changes in the body as it adjusts to the new situation. The skin is not an exception. During pregnancy, the skin blood flow is regulated differently than outside the pregnancy period, which may result in reddening, increased sensitivity, eyelids and neck swelling, as well as a tendency to varicose veins.
